I am an experienced audio professional working primarily in the computer games industry, focussing on sound design and implementation. I love crafting beautiful soundscapes and exciting original sound design, bringing the gaming experience to life through the power of great audio.
As a freelance sound designer I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of studios and companies, providing in game assets, cinematic sound design, dialogue editing, sound library assets and Wwise implementation.
I come from a background of working in-house, starting my sound design career in 2009 at the Warner Brothers owned Studio, Traveller’s Tales. I spent 4 years working on the LEGO computer games and some of the world’s most popular entertainment franchises, including Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, to name but a few.
In 2013 I moved to the Microsoft owned studio, Lionhead Studios, to work on the Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive; Fable Legends. My focus was on sound design, implementation and system design for the creative and dynamic play back of audio in game. I partnered with Pinewood Studios to create bespoke foley and vocal assets and I worked with LA based studio Formosa, to outsource additional audio requirements. I left when the studio closed in early 2016.
I have experience in Unreal 4, blueprint scripting, system design, Wwise implementation, foley and vocal recording and session direction, linear and non linear sound design, field recording, IR capture and surround sound.
